You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Boons Lake near Mud Lake. Summertime at Mud Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Mud Lake. Mud Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while November is the month with       the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Mud Lake you'll most likely meet some folks from St. Marys, and a splendid nearby hotel is Ramada Inn & Suites - Kingsland, Ga. Camping at Satilla River Vacation Land is always a nice experience, and a beautiful lake like Big Mineral Lake is a delightful place to stop at.
