If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Mountain Lake. At Finney Dam close to Mountain Lake there are some interesting things to see, and do visit Aiken Lake, it's a beautiful lake. A splendid nearby hotel is Days Inn Dallas, and Finney Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Mountain       Lake typically gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls during March, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Tanyard Branch in a kayak, and playing golf is lots of fun at Creekside Golf & Country Club. At Mountain Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter                  at Mountain Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Get wet paddling on Mobley Creek, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HIRAM (DALLAS AREA) is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
