If you are in Floyd county it's always a good idea to stop by Mountain End Lake. Mountain End Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's in close proximity to Mountain End Lake, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Big Cedar Creek. This is a good area for folks who like lakes. Milner Lake is a lake close by; this is a popular
place for people from Rome. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Mountain End Lake. Camping at Mountain End Lake is great fun, Lad Marina and Campground is a great local campground; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Horseleg Creek Country Club.
