Mount Olive Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Mount Olive Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Heritage Mobile Home Community is a magnificent local campground; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Savannah River is so much fun, needless to say you could also pop by McManus Ponds while you're here; it's not far at all. There's so much

| | to do here at Mount Olive Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Forks Campground is a good site for that, and Mount Olive Lake Dam is wonderful.
Mount Olive Lake typically gets much rainfall; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. Take a little spree to Long Branch since you're here at Mount Olive Lake; float down the rapids of Stevens Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.

nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Mount Olive Lake.
