This lake is so wonderful. Mount Olive Lake is not far at all from Augusta-Richmond County. Mount Olive Lake is a rather wet place commonly with a lot of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and November on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the warm months at Mount Olive Lake temperatures are commonly in the       90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Mount Olive Lake. A good spot to camp here at Mount Olive Lake is Heritage Mobile Home Community, and don't leave Mount Olive Lake without first going for a hike along the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail.
