Morton Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Cooper Creek for all you adrenaline people; from Morton Lake you obtain a pleasant view of Bowling Knob. Summertime highs at Morton Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Anderson Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Morton Lake called the Coosa Backcountry Trail; get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Helton Creek. All year is a splendid
time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. A splendid site to explore in close proximity to Morton Lake is Gumlog Gap, and if you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Union County Government
Butternut Creek Golf Course. Morton Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can take a little visit to Morton Lake Dam since you're here at Morton Lake, and you can stay the night at Canal Lake Campground. So much enjoyable
