Harris Shoal is near Morris Pond and is a tremendous spot, and a great location to camp here at Morris Pond is Lake Hartwell State Recreation Area. Get dripping wet paddling on Shoal Creek, and Morris Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tugaloo State Park is a great local campground. A pleasant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LAVONIA, and obviously Crawford Creek is a gorgeous stream                  that is worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel Lavonia is a tremendous place to get some rest, and there are other locations here than Morris Pond, for example Broom Pond. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Morris Pond. Not far from Morris Pond, you'll discover Lavonia Water Works Lake which is a scenic lake, and Chickasaw Point Golf Course the Trails is a nice golf course close by.
