This lake is so wonderful. Arrowhead Campground is a great campground nearby, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Sweetwater Creek. But wait, there's more to do close to Morning Creek Lake. If you're here at Morning Creek Lake and you like golf, you can check out College Park Municipal Golf Course, and Lake Estes Dam is a beautiful place, absolutely worth checking out. Summer brings       highs in the 80's to Morning Creek Lake with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Morning Creek Lake sink into the 20's. The high level of rainfall makes Morning Creek Lake a relatively wet location; March is the wettest month with most rain while September is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
