What a place this is for outdoors people. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Tifton is a magnificent choice, and good water scenery is available at Moorman Lake Dam in close proximity to Moorman Lake. Moorman Lake regularly gets a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October is       when it's the driest. All through the days of summer here at Moorman Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Moorman Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. Camping at South Georgia RV Park is always a good experience, and a delightful lake like Jones Lake is a great site to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous nearby hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Tifton; Ponder Lake is a great lake close by.     Rodeway Inn Tifton, Tifton 5 miles away Perfect stopover for travelers heading north or south.
