The nice folks of Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta like to hang out close by. Camping at Pirkle Campground is always a fine experience, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Neelys Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. The high level of rainfall makes       Moore Lake a reasonably wet place; the month with most of the rain is March while October is regularly the driest month. Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is one of the destinations near Moore Lake that are magnificent to go to, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express FAYETTEVILLE is a great spot to spend a night or two. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Moore Lake. If you come at the right time                  of year, Sweetwater Creek offers some great whitewater, and Moore Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Line Creek, and Hampton Inn Fayetteville is a great spot to get some rest. During the summertime highs here at Moore Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 60's.
