If you are in Dade county it's always a good idea to stop by Moore Lake. Trenton Days Inn is a great site to get some rest, and a golf course close by is Air Castle Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Moore Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lookout Mountain/Chattanooga West KOA, naturally you could also pop by Johnson Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Going for a hike on the Bluff Trail is always a glorious adventure; if you need a spot to stay Days Inn is a delightful choice. Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Moore Lake tend to be in the 20's.
Moore Lake is a great location to camp, Chattanooga West KOA is a great location, and you could always look at Bee Gap. All the water falling down from the sky makes Moore Lake a wet place; March is the wettest month with most rain
while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Daniel Creek offers some great whitewater, and the sights at Russell Cave National Monument will blow your mind. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Gulf Creek.
