Moore Lake gets lots of water; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Padgett Lake; if you need a site to stay Microtel Inns and Suites Jasper is a good choice. Summertime at Moore Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down       into the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Moore Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Just can't get enough of Moore Lake. A fine close by hotel is Super 8 Motels - Jasper, and why not camp at Pine Log Campground while you're here at Moore Lake. Drift down the rapids of Talking Rock Creek in a kayak, and camping is available at Diamond Lure Campground.
