Lakes are good; Moore Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Moore Lake. Moore Lake Dam is not far at all from Moore Lake; a great site to camp here at Moore Lake is Shady Oaks Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Valdosta here; camping at Country Lakes Resort is always a wonderful experience. Moore Lake is a wet location that gets much rain; of all the       months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Moore Lake. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn - Hahira/Valdosta Area is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and not far from Moore Lake you'll hit upon Crevasse Pond which is a delightful lake.
