There's so much to do here at Moons Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Campwest Minster is a perfect site for that. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. Nearby lakes? Sure, Parkers Lake is near Moons Lake, and naturally, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Henderson Lake is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful.       Cedar Lake Golf Course is a nice golf course close by, and La Quinta Inn and Suites Snellville/Stone Mountain is a magnificent place to get some rest. Throughout the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Moons Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Moons Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Moons Lake sees pretty high levels of rain;                  March is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Black Shoals is right next door to Moons Lake and is positively a tremendous place to have a look at; if you're looking for a good trip, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is quite near.
