During the summertime months highs here at Moondrop Lake get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Moondrop Lake during the winter commonly descend into the 20's. Get drenched paddling on Johnnies Creek, and Victory Lake is a nearby lake that you could       stop at. Moondrop Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with much precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is generally the driest month. Big Dry Creek is near Moondrop Lake and is always a delight to explore. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Country Hearth Inn Rome is a fine place to get some rest, and Moondrop Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Rome-floyd County Recreation is a perfect place                  to camp nearby.
