This lake is so wonderful. People from Valdosta love to come to Montgomery Pond, and Claybank Golf & Country Club is a golf course close by. Throughout the long summer days at Montgomery Pond highs are usually in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's, and nighttime lows through the       wintertime for Montgomery Pond tend to be in the 30's. Montgomery Pond generally gets a large amount of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
