Mitchells Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Dry warm beds await you at Rome-Days Inn Downtown, and of course, this is a splendid area for people who like lakes, Fort Jackson Reservoir is a lake around here. Mitchells Lake is a wet location that gets lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls during March while October is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Callier Springs Country Club is a magnificent golf course nearby,

| | and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnnies Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Morrison Campground is a great location to camp, and Hells Hollow is also a nice place to discover. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Rome-floyd County Recreation is a wonderful campground nearby, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Executive Inn is a pleasant choice. | |
