You don’t have to go far from Mitchell Lake to distinguish the water at Mitchell Lake Dam, and you're sure to stumble upon some friendly folks from Macon here. to camp Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a pleasant site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Towaliga River; there's fine hiking
along the Kinnard Horse Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail; naturally, all our national parks are great locations to explore and Ocmulgee National Monument is no exception. Life's
too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Mitchell Lake. A lake close by is Pippins Lake, and camping at Forsyth Koa Kampground is always a wonderful experience.
