The high level of precipitation makes Minnies Lake a pretty wet site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Minnies Lake through the summer are in the 90's,       and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Minnies Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.
