The scenery at Mountain End Lake Dam close to Milner Lake is gorgeous; if you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn/Rome is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Rome is a good place to       get some rest, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnnies Creek. Milner Lake usually gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October. Milner Lake is not the only site close by, Mountain End Lake is a close by lake, and a quick visit to Dry Creek is definitely a great idea. For the period                  of the summer months at Milner Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while Milner Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. There's so much to do here at Milner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Creek Park is a delightful location for that; if you've had enough of Milner Lake, North Jones Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
