Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Evans Lake near Millwood Lake, and why not explore close by Cooks Creek since you're here at Millwood Lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Millwood Lake. Abernathy Lake is a great lake next to Millwood Lake, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Towaliga River. Camping at Forsyth Koa Kampground is always a nice experience, and there is a great hiking trail close by called

| | the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Forsyth is a tremendous place to get some rest, and the Kinnard Horse Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little visit to Millwood Lake Dam if you're here at Millwood Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from Macon here. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Forsyth Golf Club is in the neighborhood, and if you come at the right time | |

of year, Little Towaliga River offers some great whitewater. A fine site to camp here at Millwood Lake is Forsyth KOA. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Forsyth, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike
along the Ocmulgee River Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Millwood Lake a wet site; through March this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October. At Millwood Lake through the summer highs are
in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Millwood Lake fall into the 30's.
