Summertime highs at Millers Pond typically tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the       winter highs are in the 40's while Millers Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Millers Pond a wet place; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Nancy Town River; Cornelia-Days Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest. Don't forget                  to take a good little visit to Camp Creek, and Appalachian Camper Park is a perfect campground nearby. You could also have a look at Blair Pond while you're here at Millers Pond; it's close by, and in close proximity to Millers Pond you locate a golf course called Apple Mountain Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Demorest Lake Dam is not far at all from Millers Pond, and Millers Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Lake Russell Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby.
