    What a nice lake Miller-Grindley Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail close to Miller-Grindley Pond called the Songbird Trail, and a lake close by is Carters Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Miller-Grindley Pond is a place with many visitors from Calhoun. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Miller-Grindley Pond has to offer, you can camp at Plum Nelly Campground.

   & Suites, and a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Coosawattee River. Through the warm months at Miller-Grindley Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Miller-Grindley Pond temperatures descend to the 20's. Miller-Grindley Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; March is when you get the most rain  
               here while October is mostly the driest month.

The Bear Creek Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Miller-Grindley Pond, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mountaintown Creek.
