This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Milledgeville is a great place to spend a night or two; if you've had enough of Miller Creek Lake, Cheatham Lake is nearby. Through the days of summer highs here at Miller Creek Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and during the       dark hours in the winter at Miller Creek Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Miller Creek Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park, and a good nearby hotel is Gray Days Inn. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Bridges Trail. During your tour to Miller                  Creek Lake you'll meet some folks from Macon for sure, and Miller Creek Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Little River Park is a great place to camp nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Miller Creek Lake. Take a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail, and since you're here, you could stop at Cedar Creek. The high level of precipitation makes Miller Creek Lake a rather wet site; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. Miller Creek Lake Dam is delightful and it's close to Miller Creek Lake, and a visit to Ocmulgee National Monument is worthwhile.
