Not far from Milams Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Milams Lake Dam, and get drenched paddling on Line Creek. If you haven’t been to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here, and lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by City Lake. During the months of summer at Milams Lake highs are generally in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's.

| | The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Milams Lake during the winter commonly descend into the 20's. Milams Lake mostly gets lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. here at Milams Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Annewakee River is so much fun, and a nice close by hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Atlanta South Fairburn. All the outdoors enjoyable things in close proximity to Milams
Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you came for an overnight stay South Oaks Manufactured Home is a great site to camp; Hendersons Lake is a pleasant lake close by.
