If you are in Fulton county it's always a good idea to stop by Mid Lake. Mid Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Summer at Mid Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. There's so much to do here at Mid Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Arrowhead Campground is a nice site for that. are some great whitewater spots on Annewakee River. If time allows, Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a national park worth stopping at, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Fairburn is a good location to spend
a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Big Lake right next door to Mid Lake is a splendid spot to explore; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Douglasville.
