Do visit Reece Lake in the neighborhood of Michael Lake, it's a picturesque lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Marsh Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Big Creek in a kayak,       and if you need a place to stay Wingate by Wyndham Alpharetta is a pleasant choice. You'll stumble on a delightful lake called Statham Lake near Michael Lake, and lots of folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta come here. For the period of the long summer days at Michael Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Michael                  Lake all through the winter mostly fall into the 20's. Michael Lake ordinarily gets a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. A tour to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is worthwhile.
