You'll need more than a day to discover everything Michael Lake has to offer, you can camp at Marietta Campground, and Wingate by Wyndham - Alpharetta is a wonderful place to get some rest. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Michael Lake. | |

A tremendous close by hotel is Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Alpharetta-Windward, and there's whitewater on Big Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. If the weather is splendid here at Michael Lake, you can go for a hike along the Brookshire
Creek Trail; Michael Lake is not the only place close by, Reece Lake is a close by lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, you have to schedule some time for it while
you're here, and a round of golf at nearby Woodmont Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. Michael Lake is a site with many visitors from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Marsh Creek.
