Mcwilliams Lake is a rather wet place regularly with a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Mcwilliams Lake is near Chamblee Gap which is unquestionably worth visiting. There's so much to do here at Mcwilliams Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lanier Island Campground is a magnificent site       for that. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Pine Lake near Mcwilliams Lake, and as expected Kelley Mill Branch is a striking stream that is worth stopping at. Comfort Suites Cumming is a magnificent place to get some rest, and a good sight of wonderful Sawnee Mountain is available. Looking for a wonderful spree? Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is rather near Mcwilliams Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Sun Suites of Cumming is                  a great choice. You'll meet a lot of folks from Gainesville here; the Brookshire Creek Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Settingdown Creek in a kayak.
