Yeah, come here to Mcwilliams Lake for a pleasant time. The high level of precipitation makes Mcwilliams Lake a relatively wet site; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Mcwilliams Lake Dam is not far at all from Mcwilliams       Lake, and if you're here, you might as well go to Chamblee Gap. So much cool stuff to do here at Mcwilliams Lake, too good to be true. Johnsen Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and dry warm beds await you at Sun Suites Of Cumming. A tremendous spot to camp here at Mcwilliams Lake is Twin Lakes Park, and Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a good local destination. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful vista of scenic Sawnee Mountain                  is available from Mcwilliams Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Amicalola Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sawnee Campground, and Windermere Golf Club 1 is a good golf course close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Settingdown Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. Kelley Mill Branch is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at, and since you're here, you could also visit pretty Pine Lake. For the period of the warm days of summer at Mcwilliams Lake highs are usually in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's.
