is available from Mcwilliams Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Amicalola Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sawnee Campground, and Windermere Golf
Club 1 is a good golf course close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Settingdown Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. Kelley Mill Branch is a scenic stream
that is worth taking a look at, and since you're here, you could also visit pretty Pine Lake. For the period of the warm days of summer at Mcwilliams Lake highs are usually in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily
in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mcwilliams Lake dip into the 20's.
