     You can take a little tour to McNeels Dam if you're here at McNeels Lake, and McNeels Lake is a place with many visitors from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. The high level of precipitation makes McNeels Lake a quite wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. There's so much to do here at McNeels Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kennesaw Koa Kampground is a good site for that, and  
   Chattahoochee River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Marietta Conference Center and Resort is a good spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything McNeels Lake has to offer, you can camp at Atlanta North KOA.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a fine journey? Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is quite near McNeels Lake. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Cofer Lake in close proximity to
 
               McNeels Lake; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites AUSTELL POWDER SPRINGS is a tremendous choice. High temperatures at McNeels Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at McNeels Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A delightful lake like Brammett Lake in the vicinity of McNeels Lake is a tremendous place to explore; as expected Ward Creek flows through this neighborhood. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really abundant here at McNeels Lake. At McNeels Lake you can observe Cheatham Hill, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rottenwood Creek.
