The high level of precipitation makes McNeels Lake a quite wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. There's so much to do here at McNeels Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kennesaw Koa Kampground is a good site for that, and       Chattahoochee River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Marietta Conference Center and Resort is a good spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything McNeels Lake has to offer, you can camp at Atlanta North KOA. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a fine journey? Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is quite near McNeels Lake. High temperatures at McNeels Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. A delightful lake like Brammett Lake in the vicinity of McNeels Lake is a tremendous place to explore; as expected Ward Creek flows through this neighborhood. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really abundant here at McNeels Lake.
