At McMurry Lake you always meet someone from Toccoa, and Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a great campground nearby. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Toccoa City Golf Course, and there are other locations here than McMurry Lake, for example Stonecypher       Lake. You can run the rapids of Big Panther Creek in close proximity to McMurry Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Toccoa. McMurry Lake is a pretty wet place regularly with much rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A good location for whitewater paddling next to McMurry Lake is Nancy Town River; you don’t have to go far from McMurry Lake to see the water                  at North Fork Broad River Structure Four Dam. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at McMurry Lake, you could stop at Carnes Creek. During the summer highs here at McMurry Lake reach the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at McMurry Lake are in the 20's. So much enjoyable stuff right next door to McMurry Lake, absolutely inspiring. Lakes?
