A great deal of rainfall falls at McManus Ponds; March is the month that gets the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Silver Lake Dam, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Silver Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If       you came for an overnight stay Heritage Mobile Home Community is a pleasant place to camp, and going for a hike on the Horn Creek Hiking Trail is always a fine adventure. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn AUGUSTA WEST I-20; if you've had enough of McManus Ponds, Hardys Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at McManus Ponds you will meet lots of folks from nearby Augusta-Richmond                  County. Through the summer highs here at McManus Ponds reach the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's while McManus Ponds nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Evans Hotel is a magnificent choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Savannah River.
