Georgia has many beautiful lakes and McIntosh Dam is one of them. High temperatures at McIntosh Dam through the warm months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 50's with temperatures at McIntosh Dam dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Lake Wildlife Trail. There are some fine whitewater spots on Big Sandy Creek, and going for a hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. There's so much to do here at McIntosh
Dam that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Springs State Park is a good site for that; not far from McIntosh Dam you obtain some brilliant water scenery at Chief McIntosh Lake Dam. McIntosh Dam is a pretty wet place commonly
with lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most while October is mostly the driest month.
