    It's always fun to stop by McIntosh Dam. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Hilltop Inn, and do take a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail. This is a perfect region for folks who like lakes. Luce Lake is a lake nearby; a round of golf at nearby Hickory Hill Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time. Throughout the summertime highs here at McIntosh Dam get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; overnight  
   lows in the 30's for McIntosh Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Indian Springs State Park, and as expected Aboothlacoosta Creek flows through this neighborhood. McIntosh Dam usually gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to McIntosh Dam, you might not ever want to return back home again. Whitewater paddling is good on Towaliga River;
 
               why not take a refreshing hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail.
There's so much to do here at McIntosh Dam that you need to camp here for a while, High Falls State Park is a great place for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around McIntosh Dam; Ocmulgee River Trail is a nice local trail. Not far from McIntosh Dam you obtain some fine water scenery at Chief McIntosh Lake Dam, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn At Jackson is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Chief McIntosh Lake is one of those close by, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Sandy Creek.
