This location rules, just check out all the exciting stuff to do close to McGuery Lake. At McGuery Dam near McGuery Lake there are some interesting things to see, and there are some good whitewater spots on Rose Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay       Hampton Inn Madison is a tremendous choice. Have a great hiking adventure along the Mounds Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Apalachee River. McGuery Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain while September is commonly the driest month. If you get bored of McGuery Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Mathews Lake; do take a hike on the Scull Shoals Trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  Horse Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at; dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - MADISON.
