This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Daniel Creek near McGee Lake, and do go to Moore Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. Johnson Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Gulf Creek. If you came for an overnight       stay Cloudland Canyon State Park is a wonderful place to camp, and McGee Lake is right by the Bluff Trail. A great close by hotel is Days Inn Trenton, and the Skyuka Trail offers hiking at its best. Yeah, come here to McGee Lake for a great time. You might want to pay a visit to Bee Gap while you're here at McGee Lake; dropping by Russell Cave National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. So much fun stuff to do here at McGee                  Lake, too delightful to be true. For you golfers we recommend close by Air Castle Golf Club, and why not stop by McGee Lake Dam if you're here. McGee Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. High temperatures at McGee Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at McGee Lake.
