For the duration of the warmest time of the year at McEver Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to McEver Lake. Reservoir Nine is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Flat Creek is a good whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Gainesville Stone Lake       Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's near McEver Lake, and you can run the rapids of Little River - East Fork. The summit of Price Mountain can be observed from McEver Lake, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Gainesville for sure. All the water falling down from the sky makes McEver Lake a wet place; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; October on the other hand is the driest. McEver Lake is a tremendous place                  to visit for more than one day, Fort Yargo State Park is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Chateau Elan Lodge, Ga. You'll need more than a day to discover everything McEver Lake has to offer, you can camp at River Forks Park and Campground; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Golf Club at Chateau Elan is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. So much cool stuff to do here at McEver Lake, too splendid to be true.
