A glorious                  site for whitewater paddling near McEver Lake is Little River - East Fork, and Flat Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. McEver Lake is a site with many visitors from Gainesville, and do stop by Gainesville Stone Lake Dam if you're here. All the water falling down from the sky makes McEver Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful.
