Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Savannah River. There's so much to do here at McDonald Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Byron Mobile Home and Camper is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Pointe South Golf Club is a wonderful golf course close by, and not far from McDonald       Pond you'll find James Pond which is a stunning lake. Days Inn Augusta / Deans Bridge Road is a delightful location to get some rest, and there are other sites here than McDonald Pond, for example Jolly Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes McDonald Pond a wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. What a site this is for outdoors folks. You're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from                  Augusta-Richmond County here.
