Here at McDade Pond you'll perhaps meet some folks from Augusta-Richmond County; enjoy a round of golf at Goshen Plantation Golf Club. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn South, and you can stay the night at Fox Hollow Camp Ground. For the period of the warm days of summer at McDade Pond temperatures are usually in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. High temperatures through       the winter are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at McDade Pond plunge into the 30's. That right there is a load already, but it continues; McDade Pond has it all. Goshen Lake Dam is worth a visit while you're here, and float down the rapids of Savannah River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Gordon Hwy is a great choice. There's so much to do here at McDade Pond                  that you need to camp here for a while, Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a pleasant place for that.
