There's so much to do here at McDade Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground is a glorious place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are splendid; Georgia Lake Number       Nine is a lake that's in close proximity to McDade Lake, and if you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Milledgeville is a perfect choice. Having a delightful time at McDade Lake is trouble-free. McDade Lake Dam is stunning and it's near McDade Lake; there are splendid spots to look at along the Twin Bridges Trail. High temperatures at McDade Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the                  60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to McDade Lake. McDade Lake is not far at all from Milledgeville, and not far from McDade Lake you'll hit upon Hospital Lake Number Two which is a picturesque lake.
