After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Peachtree City is a good location to spend a night or two, and camping at South Oaks Manufactured Home is always a fine experience. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. A magnificent nearby hotel is Best Western Peachtree City Inn/Suites, and an out of the ordinary       thing to go to right next door to McCord South Lake is McCord South Dam. All the water falling down from the sky makes McCord South Lake a wet location; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A fine place to camp here at McCord South Lake is Pirkle Campground; as expected, this is a great region for folks who like lakes, Willow Pond is a lake close by. Do pay a visit                  to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail if you're here at McCord South Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Line Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; needless to say Pelham Creek flows through this vicinity. At McCord South Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's.
