Sure, Willow Pond is right next door to McCord North Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Annewakee River. High temperatures at McCord North Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at McCord North Lake dip into the 30's.       McCord North Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Pirkle Campground is a fine local campground, also McCord North Dam is worth going to while you're here. If time allows, Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a national park worth taking a look at, and there are                  some pleasant whitewater spots on Line Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at McCord North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, South Oaks Manufactured Home is a brilliant place for that, and a quick trip to Pelham Creek is absolutely a splendid idea. The high level of rain makes McCord North Lake a quite wet location; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is frequently the driest month.
