Fountain Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Twin Bridges Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some great whitewater, and a wonderful place to camp here at McClure Lake is Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground. After a long day outdoors       Days Inn Milledgeville is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. So much entertaining stuff to do at McClure Lake, so little time. Lots of people from Milledgeville come to McClure Lake; Scottish Inns Milledgeville is a good place to get some rest. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at McClure Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime                  come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to McClure Lake. The high level of precipitation makes McClure Lake a reasonably wet site; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
