Golf can be played at High Point Golf Course, and a quick trip to Big Spring Branch is undeniably a magnificent idea. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to McCallie Lake while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for McCallie Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Bluff Trail is tremendous fun, and       Bird Hollow is a fine location to spend some time. You can run the rapids of Bear Creek near McCallie Lake, and Lula Lake is a great lake close by. Knight Spring is a delightful local attraction, and Eagle Cliff is an interesting thing to see since you're here. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to McCallie Lake. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Rock Creek; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel &                  Suites Chattanooga-Lookout Mtn, Tn. This lake is so wonderful. McCallie Lake is right by the Skyuka Trail, and McCallie Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Raccoon Mountain Campground is a magnificent local campground.
