If you are in White county it's always a good idea to stop by Mays Lake. Mays Lake gets lots of water; March is when you get the most rain here; October is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is plentiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Union Grove Campground is a nice campground here, and get soaked paddling on Chattahoochee River. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Mud Creek in a kayak; camping at Mays Lake is nice fun,

The scenery at Mays Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Mays Lake is picturesque, and hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail is glorious fun. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mays Lake. While you're here at Mays Lake you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail, and near Mays Lake you discover a golf course | |

If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. A magnificent close by hotel is Econo Lodge Helen, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure
along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. During the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Mays Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; all through the dark hours in
the wintertime at Mays Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Ramada Limited is a great choice, and if you've had enough of Mays Lake, Garner Pond is nearby. If you're visiting Mays Lake from Cornelia, you won't be the only one, and Pink Mountain is clearly visible from Mays Lake.
