Here at Matthews Lake you'll probably meet some people from Thomaston; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Flint River. A stunning lake like Mathews Lake in the vicinity of Matthews Lake is a great spot to check out, and camping at Heart of Georgia RV Park is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Potato Creek offers some great       whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Thomaston-Days Inn. Just can't get enough of Matthews Lake.
