Crane Lake is a lake around here, and why not camp at Cordele KOA if you're here at Matthews Lake. If you need a spot to stay Ramada Cordele is a nice choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Cordele Rv is a good place to camp. Matthews Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.       Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Matthews Lake is great! After a long day outdoors Days Inn Cordele is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Eastwood Lake, also Matthews Lake Dam is worth checking out if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. At Matthews Lake you always meet someone from Cordele, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Pine                  Hills Country Club. High temperatures at Matthews Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 70's.
