Mathews Lake is a rather wet place mostly with lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most; September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Mathews Lake in the neighborhood of Mathews       Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Madison, and the Falling Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River, and camping at Talisman Campark is always a delightful experience. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Mathews Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the                  winter at Mathews Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. Be careful coming to Mathews Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Drift down the rapids of Apalachee River in a kayak; after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - MADISON is a great place to spend a night or two. Some close by water includes Little Sugar Creek, and camping is available at US Forestry Department.
