If you are in this part of Georgia make sure to pay a visit to Mashburn Mill Lake. Mashburn Mill Lake is a pretty wet place ordinarily with a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Settingdown Creek; Wilkie Dam is not far at all from Mashburn Mill Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

Through the summer at Mashburn Mill Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's.
