There's so much to do here at Mashburn Mill Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sawnee Campground is a delightful place for that. But wait, there's more to do near Mashburn Mill Lake. An afternoon playing golf at Windermere Golf Club 1 is always a pleasure; Wilkie is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mashburn Mill Lake a wet spot; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Settingdown Creek; do go to Wilkie Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Sun Suites Of Cumming is a good place to get some rest. | |
