Lots of rain falls at Martin Lake; the month with most of the rain is March; October meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do close to Martin Lake. There's always       Talking Rock Watershed Dam Number Four to take a look at close to Martin Lake. On a great day at Martin Lake you can take a hike along the Bear Creek Trail, and get soaked paddling on Talking Rock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Talona Creek Campground, and after a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites Jasper is a fine site to spend a night or two. At Martin Lake throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's while overnight lows                  are usually in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while Martin Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's.
