The sight of Mount Alto from Martens Lake is wonderful, also Martens Lake Dam is worth visiting since you're here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Johnnies Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Rome. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Martens Lake without first checking out Blacks Bluff; Americas Best Value Inn/Rome is a great place to get some rest. High temperatures at Martens Lake through the

For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Martens Lake. During your visit to Martens Lake you'll meet some folks from Rome for sure, and if you came to camp Cedar Creek Park is a great place to do that. you're probably addicted to lakes, Camps Lake is one of those nearby. Martens Lake mostly gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is typically the driest month. Having
a great time at Martens Lake is uncomplicated. Nearby lakes? Sure, Milner Lake is in the neighborhood of Martens Lake, and Horseleg Creek Country Club is a nice golf course nearby.
