     Line Creek is a perfect whitewater spot close to Mallory Lake, and not far from Mallory Lake you'll discover Heads Creek which is a charming lake. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Griffin is a great location to spend a night or two, and let's not forget Heads Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Mallory Lake has to offer. Since you might be in a lake  
   visiting mood you can always pop by close by Graves Lake, and if you came to camp Atlanta South RV Resort is a good location to do that.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mallory Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Mallory Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for people
 
               from Thomaston. There's so much to do here at Mallory Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pirkle Campground is a tremendous site for that. Mallory Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and a nice nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Newnan, GA.
Mallory Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest month is September.
