Majors Lake is always a pleasure to visit. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Go for a hike on the DeSoto Falls Trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Majors Lake Dam. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Majors Lake. Going for a hike on the Black Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure, and at Majors Lake you can catch a sight of Whissenhunt Mountain. Majors Lake is a pretty wet place

| | regularly with a large amount of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. So much amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. There's so much to do here at Majors Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Etowah River Campground is a pleasant spot for that; why not a little side spree to Mud Creek. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy | |

at Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega, and Majors Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Blackburn Park and Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Majors Lake you'll meet some
people from Gainesville for sure; don't leave Majors Lake without first going for a hike along the Duncan Ridge Trail. A great spot to go to in the vicinity of Majors Lake is Low Gap, and there are some perfect whitewater spots
on Etowah River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Majors Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Majors Lake.
