Beautiful Majors Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Majors Lake you can take a hike along the DeSoto Falls Trail, and Majors Lake is a location with many visitors from Gainesville. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Majors Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Majors Lake descend into

| | the 20's. Camp Glisson Lower Lake is a great lake close to Majors Lake, and close to Majors Lake you stumble on a golf course called Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch River.

Black Mountain Trail; camping is available at Blackburn Park and Campground. An attention-grabbing thing to stop at next to Majors Lake is Majors Lake Dam, and Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a great place to get some rest.
You clearly
have to have a thing about Majors Lake. Majors Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. That right there is a lot of fun things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Camping at Etowah River Campground
is always a glorious experience, and the Duncan Ridge Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby.
The top of Whissenhunt Mountain is easily distinguished from Majors Lake, and you might also want to pay a visit to Low Gap since
you're here at Majors Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Mud Creek in close proximity to Majors Lake is a pleasant idea, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega is a magnificent place to spend a night
or two. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Majors Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Etowah River; a striking lake like Hidden Lake is a splendid place to visit.
